Wahamuyake Atsabi is Commanche for Music Spirit 2. It is the second guitar made from the a portion of Plano Bur Oak tree that fell in October 2023 that was dated at over 400 years old. I was one of over 60 artists that were part of the Plano Bur Oak Artist Challenge in which we were invited to create one-of-a-kind artworks from the wood salvaged from the tree. Although the guitar is quite heavy, it has the grit and growl that you want from a double cutaway beast.
